Parece que a novela da venda do UFCchegou ao fim e a organização tem novos proprietários. Segundo o site norte-americano “FloCombat”, a Zuffa, atual proprietária do Ultimate, fechou negócio com quatro empresas e vendeu as ações da liga esportiva por US$ 4,2 bilhões (aproximadamente R$ 14 bilhões).

O conglomerado industrial é formado por duas empresas norte-americanas e duas chinesas: WME-IMG, The Kraft Group, Dalian Wanda Group e Tencent Holdings, respectivamente. Ainda de acordo com o site, a maioria do valor investido sairá das empresas chinesas. As companhias americanas ficaria responsável por dar “nova cara” ao UFC.

No entanto, a permanência do presidente Dana White e os casamenteiros de luta Joe Silva eSean Shelby não está em jogo. Os novos proprietários querem a presença do chefão para lidar com a parte promocional dos eventos do UFC e os responsáveis por casar os duelos continuariam com a mesma função.
