Passado o choque inicial surge uma fúria repentina. Essa raiva vem acompanhada da necessidade de acusar a outra pessoa ou quem quer que tenha surgido como explicação para o término.

Nessa hora a pessoa liga para a outra, exige explicações, joga tudo na cara. Devolve os presentes, queima os bilhetes e fotos e fala mal da pessoa.

Essa fase é perigosa pois costuma ser bem nociva para o ex-casal, mas algumas pessoas se abastecem da raiva para se sentirem fortes. Mal sabem que estão em cacos!
