Mostrou enorme alegria por ter marcado o gol botafoguense no primeiro tempo, que empatou o duelo, mas ficou muito decepcionado com o revés, que mandou a equipe de volta à zona de rebaixamento.

Mas, de acordo com o jogador, o futebol dá novas chances e a próxima será diante do Figueirense, nesta quarta-feira, em Juiz de Fora (MG), pela 10.ª rodada. O meia ressaltou nesta segunda a importância de uma vitória em casa antes de uma dura sequência na competição.

"Não foi bom e ficamos tristes pelo resultado. Tivemos chances de virar o jogo e sabemos que a situação não está favorável. Estamos trabalhando para melhorar o máximo possível. Temos errado na hora de colocar a bola pra dentro, mas vejo como uma fase que vai passar. Jogando em casa nós temos que nos impor. Não só contra o Figueirense, mas contra qualquer adversário. Pela sequência que teremos será fundamental", ressaltou.

Diante do Figueirense, o Botafogo jogará na cidade em que conquistou uma das duas vitórias no Brasileirão - contra o Atlético Paranaense por 2 a 1. Leandro acredita que é necessário uma atenção maior da equipe para tirar o time da situação desconfortável na tabela de classificação.
